Overview of the Community Musical/Pageant
This community musical tells the heartfelt story of John Smith, a man from the small town of Rushton in the 1950s. John is the owner of Smith's Hardware, a local staple in the community. As the holiday season approaches, John finds himself overwhelmed and saddened by the hustle and bustle that the holidays have come to represent.
Plot Summary
One night, John has a dream in which an angel visits him and delivers a profound message: Jesus is going to visit him. This revelation sparks a change in John's perspective. He begins to prepare for this anticipated visit, eagerly watching and waiting for Jesus to arrive. As John prepares for Jesus, he starts to notice the needs of his community and begins helping others by addressing their needs.
